Never underestimate travel insurance

Many people make the mistake of underestimating the importance of a travel insurance policy. Travel insurance covers a whole lot of things that are not covered by, for example, your regular health care policy. Any sort or health care service or medical treatment you avail in an area not covered by your health care policy will be sure to be very expensive, but having travel insurance makes sure that you will enjoy the benefits of having something akin to an expanded health care plan when you are in a different place. The same goes for lost luggage, accommodations when you’re stranded, and a host of other travel related woes that without travel insurance, would cost you a pretty penny.
